TOLGA!
I have been oohing and aahing over this killer bed for days, Ikea is killing the game right now, plus, I like cheapy furniture..especially if it is of the Swedish variety. It's like Avant-Garde for a discount.

How Delightful, and for $35 it wouldn't even be an issue to break it while fucking....you can just get a new one the next day.

I am all about brown people doin' it big. Open up a store, throw parties, start your own groups...whatever, just represent and make us look good...Keep Me Hot, that's what I always say. At any rate, due to my upcoming departure to the land of milk and honey (NYC), I've been checking out culture blogs and shit. I want to know what's going on and who to get down with, that sort of thing. I am definitely a social butterfly here, but being one in NYC will take work and planning.

This blog is the truth, these boys, handsome as they are, are making moves there.

Check them out by clicking the link up there, and peep these flicks.

SNEAK ATTACK!!!
I've been in touch with these guys in Detroit, these dope ass guys who make ill threads, even to the point where they sent me some stuff and I made it my business to show it off whenever I went out...the "Argyle" tee and that "This Subculture Is Strong" tee are both their creations. Now they've got out some new stuff and it's better than that last tee you bought, I promise!

Here's a bit of a sneak peek:

I'm fiending for that Sex Shooter piece, seriously. Plus, homeboy in the flicks is mad cute, so find these boys at their MYSPACE or The Sneak Attack Blog. Check them out and tell me how right I am later.

MAMA CLOTHING SPRING COLLECTION

Mama is showin her ass! Here's one of my favorite from the new collection. Inspired by my second favorite pop artist Roy Lichenstien. I copped the Mama's Mondrian shirt last year and wasn't a fan of the fit or quality, so let's hope she's cleaned these up a bit. Check the rest of the line out here

DALLAS STEPPING THEIR STREETWEAR GAME UP

Press Release

Centre stands as an experimental fusion of aesthetics with a concept sure to send the retail experience on a new course. Set to open in April 2007, Centre specializes in sourcing and mixing the best in young designer labels and contemporary street fashions: a marriage of luxurious extremes. With a well-edited assortment of compelling footwear, clothing, timepieces, eyewear as well as independent books and music, Centre’s buying rationale relies on instinct and a desire to expand the palette of consumers. “We are a concept born not of necessity, but of an enthusiasm for finding those rare pieces that convey a sense of exploration and lifestyle in a sophisticated, yet subtle manner,” says Centre’s Phillip Sterling. “Our loyalty lies with design and its process; not labels and price-points.”

The store’s interior is a case study in iconic extremes, combining scenes from the debauchedness of the disco-era Manhattan penthouse with the calming, digital symmetry of Japanese modernism. Designer Matthew Giese -- with the help of Kuzuu Design -- was responsible for uniting these two schools within an unfinished, 875-square- foot concrete box, a natural progression for Giese as the owner/designer of boutique club hotspot, Suite ( suitedallas.com ). The resulting space heralds a style giving nods to the groundbreaking architectural works of Rem Koolhaas, Tadao Ando, and the lesser-known Masamichi Katayama. It is an interior blending smoked glass and untreated wood planks with a carefully selected assortment of neon, florescent and LED light installations.

Centre’s extensive build-out forms a cornerstone in developing a platform for a progressive, design-driven retail experience that stresses the engagement of the senses between patron and product. Ultimately, Centre stands as a canvas to be filled with products all serving to rewrite the rules of luxury and branding the creativity of a generation begat from the likes of Warhol and Starck.

The boutique is proud to present an eclectic range of vendors for Spring 2007, including WESC, Maharishi MHI, b.Son, Puma, Imperial Denim, Alex and Chloe, Converse, EFU by Richard Kidd, GONZ, Cassette Homme, Bing Bang, Le Magnifique, Tom Ford, Suemi, Evil Genius, Nooka and many more. The apparel will stand alongside an ever changing array of books and music targeted towards the globally and design-minded consumer. Centre is located within Mockingbird Station at 5331 Mockingbird Lane ( NE corner of Mockingbird and Central Expressway. ) 214.821.2028. www.gotocentre.com

Lines include: Clarendon, Red Clay, LAMB, Vans, House 33, etc.

I haven't had a chance to post in a while, but I'm back! I ran across some cool info though. So I love my kicks, and I love the look of some sexy heels. But I don't like the pain I have to endure to rock them. Well, some clever person at Nike Lab and Cole Hann shoes decided to collaborate on some high heels! Yes, heels. They're taking Nike air tech and adding 2 air cushions for kick type comfort. How dope is that?

And speaking of Kelis...

Her and hubby Nas are shooting a reality show similar to Nick and Jessica's Newley Weds series. Now from what I've seen, all couples that have chosen to go this route have ended up in divorce (Nick and Jes, David Navarro and Carmen Electra, Travis Barker and his chick). I'm hoping for the best though.

The Hundreds Catering to the Ladies

The Hundreds have dominated the streetwear scene for a minute and have smartened up and recently created "Tens", a female shirt line to compliment their Hundreds shirts. I have to admit, I've been tempted to get the Hundreds "Paisley" and cut it up to fit my curvature. Don't have to anymore.

Killa Threads

You're probably looking at this thinking, dude, isn't Cuba supposed to handle streetwear? Yes Ma! She is, but, she's got some stuff goin' on, stuff I think is way more important than this blog, so I don't plan on bothering her about it until she's straight. She's still fam though, so don't sleep, Ms. Cuba will be back to give us the goods real soon.

On to the business....
ClawMoney is some shit I stumbled onto yesterday, it's fly as hell, plus it's got the Chanel chain print my girl has been feeling lately, if you peeped her wishlist you'd know all about it. Here's some flicks for the fans:

Fierce huh? If you're into the sweatsuit set thing this is the shit to have, especially since
you'll never see this shit in Dallas, real talk. It'll be super fresh to catch a broad in this, plus it'll let me know you've been reading....Let Bee Upgrade You!
Moving Along.
This weekend was fierce, The Party went off without a hitch, The boy's did their thing even with a less than wild crowd. This cold weather is thinning out crowds everywhere, why aren't people rocking house parties right now? That's what needs to go down, real talk.
The Next Night was "Low Tech High Life" at Art Prostitute. It went off without a hitch. There's something about people who get some shine being sweet to their fans. Jeremy Fish even signed a record for Select. Dope. The usual suspects were in the place...all fam. I gotta say, I love seeing people out supporting each other. I'm such a fucking softy.
This weekend was fly. Gay men in hats, Bars, Lovely. And it continues this weekend.

Get it going people....Your girl will be MCing at Art Prostitute on Friday. You get to hear Ms. Flo$$y on the mic all night.
Come Out!
BTW. I'll be getting better about updating, since it's just me for the time being, I'll be updating everyday.
