Fashion Inspiration!!!You don't even have to be a frequent reader of this blog to know how much I love to dig in the fashion archives and check out past shows. It's a proven fact that everything old is new, and most of the time, they did it better the first go-round, so I like to stick with the good shit. Check out these recently unearthed and loved up shows.
Calvin Klein Sp/03
How clean, how beautifully spare! This collection was neat, it was functional, and i'll be damned if that's not sexy. The models didn't look super dead and skinny and sick either, which is good to look at...At some point it's like, "Damn, but do you have 80lbs on a 5'10 frame?"

As Well As Evening/Cocktails:Gucci Sp/03
This collection was super sexy, just like all Tom Ford collections! I understand a straightforward approach, if you want to be modern, don't skip around the park to do it, just be modern, if you'd like to be sexy, just show me some leg-poitrine (cleavage)-a shoulder, and be sexy!!! How clever to draw from known sources of sexual interest (Geisha's, Punk, Disco Queens) and give us a modern interpretation of their known sexiness...

And Last but Certainly not Least:
Chanel Sp/03
If cleanliness appeals to you, but you're not so much about the spare, empty canvas Calvin presents, and overt sexiness doesn't appeal to you like it does to me, try Chanel. This collection was dancing, if I am even allowed to type that as a member of Cynics International. But seriously, it's about fun, the chance to get springy, stroll around Paris, eat Maccaroons, all that stuff. I can say that youth is all over this, but you already knew that right?
